A Glow Worm Safari

Monday 14th July 2025, 9:30pm - 11pm

Explore Burley Wood at night, with the chance to view the once common sight of female glow worms twinkling in the moonlight to attract a mate.

Wild Rutland hosts a significant portion of the Leicestershire and Rutland population, working with other stakeholders to increase the population of these mystical creatures.

Whilst the majority of this trip is on good paths, this activity will be at night and so there are risks involved. Sensible footwear and warm clothing recommended.
